The great philanthropist of twenitieth century , seth chotadoss son of Hargovind Doss, a Gujarati Modh visa Adalija from solithra established a prime located dharmasala on 25th may 1918 by doctor sir s.sojithra lyer, the first indian to become acting chief justice of madras high court. Adding a feather in the caps was the worshiping deity of lord satyanrayan murthi installed and consecrated on 5th day of february 1919.
The philanthropist family carried on the torch of serving this part of socirty by Sri Govindass Bhagwandas Parikh till his last breeth. Kudos to the following trustees who had served this institution sri Chandulal B.Parikh, Sri Kisan H. Shah Sri.Sharad N.Desai,Sri Rajendra G.Shah.
The century old temple and dharmasala has been a place of important destinations by the pilgrims from the west and north india.The infra structure at dharmasala with modern facilities for the pilgrims for their comfortable stay has been provided. The drivine blessings of Lord satyanarayan and generous contribution from the members of gujarati vaishnav samaj made it possible to fulfill the dream of our chairman.

Sri. P. Haridas, an ardent devotee of Vaishnavisam, spent nearly fifty years on various fields. An Advocate by profession, attached to Sankar Netralaya, "Gow-Seva" and establishing college for women an attached to many schools / colleges. His noble vision made this task very easy.
Lord satyanarayan, the presiding diety at the temple is a unique in all respects. During the poornima days, when moon showers the large crowd gathers periodically for belssings. Satyanarayan Katha / Pooja on this day is perfomed by many familes at home and also been performed regularly at the temple.
